Probably because the Euro sucked and the NAM caved toward it at 6z.As for the weekend, there's another thread for that. Who is depressed about their snow? People just got 2-3ft and we're moving out of the heart of winter. Some of it is going to melt, sublimate, and compact. I think the weenies have been more whiney post blizzard than pre. Most models signal an intense band within 30-40 miles of here which will always have my interest anyway. Ackwaves misses 5-8" by 10 miles this run.
