PB GFI
The difference 4 days out between the operational and the ensembles are pretty simple. Is AC the systems midpoint or it's most northern extent. Will get sorted. I like that the GFS went south. Because the correction would mean snow. Not rain. TWCCraig
18z GEFS are SE. Brushes us.
Dsnowx53
Based on the EC ensembles and the GFS's general numerical weather prediction tendencies, I would actually expect the 0z GFS to be a miss and the 0z Euro to be a hit. Then we're back to the classic situations we have been in the past.

jm1220
Too bad we're having this warm up and rain which will get rid of a good chunk of the snow we have. But I'm excited as well for the rest of the month as we finally have a STJ that's alive.

PB GFI
ISO made a great point earlier as long as the SW can outrace and slip under the PV then it can get pulled up The NAM really 48 hrs away from being in a better range. So even though I like the lat look , I wana see the euro ensemble the next day or 2.

SnowGoose69
may be even too amped up Thats typical for the NAM at the end of its run, I've seen it headed for Pittsburgh on systems that end up over the benchmark.
SnoSki14
Nice 50/50 low in place though. Would certainly allow for coastal transfer, that's why it's more likely to be too se than too far nw.

IMO its a good run, really. It's more amped initially in its good range, which is good for all up and down the coast, even though after 48 it gets really amped as usual. Nice too see.
