Heisy
I see you guys post the RPM model, is it a reliable model for short term? I generally use the HRRR for 12 hr forecasting.
Tropopause_Fold
i just went through the NAM step-by-step from 12z through 00z runs (i hate that it keeps running NW) i honestly think it is just very slowly slipping toward the consensus. you can see it with the track of some of the 9h to 8h lows etc. gfs is interesting. Clinch Leatherwood
The RGEM makes sense to me...I actually am a little surprised it's not a bit NW...but it seems to make sense. Yeah me too. It's what I expected the NAM to do. GFS is actually a little SE of the 18z OP GFS run through 21 hours.

Yeah. This is pretty much what the RAP has been doing FWIW, it kept all the heavy moisture off the coast north of about the VA Capes through it's run. charleskoz
GFS would be a big bust for a lot of places. Rare to see the GFS and NAM so divergent this close in.
Hazey
The rgem has been solid in past events. The Nam not so much. Just sayin'

Clinch Leatherwood
The rgem has been solid in past events. The Nam not so much. Just sayin' yikes Someone correct me if I'm misreading the RGEM, but doesn't it confine the big hit to eastern areas this run, particularly ese areas? GFS is definitely allowing this out further. ORH_wxman
NAM on one side and GFS way ont he other....I still like the very consistent and middle ground Euro/SREF/RGEM type solutions for my final call.
CT Rain
Stubborn GFS not budging. It's weird. I figured it would tick toward consensus even if it didn't make a big jump. I'm really surprised it went in the other direction. A bit concerning to be honest.

weatherwiz
meh...if the Euro starts itching towards the GFS then I would really worry, however, if the Euro is like the NAM or more like the NAM I wouldn't bet against the Euro/NAM combo.
