nzucker
Most likely, the bands will merge and probably stall over Eastern NYC. It's pretty much over once that band passes...the radar echoes are rapidly collapsing southward. This looks like the classic NW flow band at the tail end of a CCB. NYCSuburbs
I'm in Cresskill, NJ (eastern Bergen county) about to get hit by the band if it continues on its current path and doesn't weaken... should be very interesting to see what happens once it gets here. For comparison purposes, I measured my total before the band came through, currently at 10".
Mitchel Volk
No this band will be great but will progress to the south and east, it is the beginning of the end, It was fun
SnowGoose69
In an odd way we benefited from the later phase I think, this allowed the primary to jump in in time to produce this band here.

winterwx21
Ridiculously heavy snow with that final band that's coming through. Very narrow line so it's won't last long, but it's something else. Some of the heaviest snow i've ever seen.

NorthShoreWx
Congrats....gonna be hard for you guys to top this This is the most I have measured since '78 and we are going to surpass that. The wind tonight right here isn't close to 78. I've heard of teh hurricane gusts offshore, but our strongest winds were this afternoon when the snow wasn't as heavy. Meteoropoulos
Amazing what 5 hours or so can do to a storms historical relevance. At 9pm this board was calling bust one after the other. I just knew once that northern storm caught up with the southern storm, it would explode and the dynamics would kick in as shown in the last 5 or so hours. A lesson to be learned by the boys that jumped the gun early. Look at the situation at hand and go from there. What a night. Seriously, what a night!
