monmouthcounty11
3.5 inches here in Lincroft, snow coming down at a moderate clip still and getting very windy. The forecast of 6-8 inches should probably verify with the remaining precip that is out. Some crazy amounts out on LI, awesome stuff.

TWCCraig
There's still some SW expansion of that southern edge of that Yeah you noticed that too? Simulated radar didn't have the precip that far S&W. Could mean longer duration of snows.
ag3
NYC reporting .76" of precip so far. Euro, nam, ggem and ukie had about 1.25"-1.50" on their last runs. Even the gfs was 1"-1.25". If the higher models verify, NYC could be looking at 5"-8" more.

mikemost
Ripping it to shreds over here in Morristown... HEAVY snow. Last measurement was about an hour ago and we were at 7.1" - I have to think we've surpassed well over 8.5" right now, but I still have to go out & measure. More than satisfied. Congrats LI/CT/New England, what a freakin' beast of a weather event!!!
Allsnow
Puking snow here. Have not seen these rates since 2011
IsentropicLift
According to this radar is looks like in the last couple frames the deform band is pulling east slightly. Still a solid bunch of hours of snow left tho from NYC on east http://radar.weather.gov/ridge/radar.php?product=N0R&rid=OKX&loop=yes No. check the Mt. Holly radar instead, it will show that the Western banding has stayed west of Allentown and hasn't really come further west. If the NAM was correct, this thing is going to sit on top of us and basically snow itself out. 980 mb low is now all the way out by the bench mark.
