dbc
Wow.. I actually do have more snow than some in NYC.. I probably have 8-9 inches .. but wow.. I was actually expecting more..since we didn't have rain up here. just 1-2 hours of sleet. Yup. We do have about 9 out there with some hours of good bands still to go. Upton unethused though, knocking us down from the 16 forecasted in our vicinity for a good time to maybe 10. Think we squeak out more than Upton says but 16 may be too far from our reach. EasternLI
Looks like snow is making a comeback now. After the thunder and whiteout, I switched to sleet and rain which has made 6" of slop that will surely freeze later with more snow on top

jm1220
Coming down decently hard, moderate I'd say. Still not great snow growth-tiny flakes. If this keeps up until 4-5am or so, could eek out 8" or so. About an inch and a half.

Anyway just eyeballing but we're probably closing in on 10 inches... Yep. Guilty as charged. Hoping our two inches here in Westbury deepens a bit more. WintersGrasp
I'll be honest...I was expecting several hours of rain/sleet and I barely got any ! Switched right over to all snow around 1:30 or so and accumulated a pretty quick 3-4" and then....dry slotted for hours and now still having a hard time picking up again at all. Expecting just 7-9" here. I thought the early turn to snow would mean more but ended up getting a lot less
