Stormlover74
Wow I'm literally 5 miles north of the mix/sleet line here in NJ....sleet is actually moving N again....that heavy bright banding near NYC is a mix as per RADARSCOPE correlation Yeah I'm back to mostly sleet again. I guess it will be a battle until heavier stuff and colder air filters in.

Come on man its 4:00, storm is just getting going. Have some patience. I know its frustrating. Same thing happened on 2/26/10 and 1/27/11 before finally changing to heavy snow, and once it did we got blasted.
IsentropicLift
Dry slot stopped moving east....heavy snow building towards NE NJ/NYC As the NAM showed. That band just offshore is going to move NW and expand NW a bit. I think anyone from Warren County north and east will end up doing well.

I'm in NE NJ Essex county JUST north of that sleet though it is mixing in sligtly Long Beach, south shore of Nassau County. I'd say about 30-40% of what's falling is sleet.
