DUALPOL RADAR INDICATES AREAS ALONG THE NORTH SHORE OF LONG ISLANDHAVE TRANSITIONED TO SNOW...WITH THE REST OF LONG ISLAND...NEWYORK CITY...AND NORTHEASTERN NEW JERSEY TRANSITIONING FROM RAIN TOSNOW AS THE AFTERNOON PROGRESSES.ONCE THIS TRANSITION OCCURS...SNOW WILL ACCUMULATE FAIRLY RAPIDLYON ALL SURFACES. THIS WILL MAKE FOR SLIPPERY AND HAZARDOUSCONDITIONS IN TIME FOR THE EVENING RUSH HOUR. DRIVERS SHOULDEXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION OR AVOID TRAVEL IF POSSIBLE.$$
