It's only just after 4pm and we have probably another 12-15 hours to go in this event. We missed out on a few inches from the onset but if this is the real deal and we flip over now, we'll catch up fast. Also, I think the snow over PA will catch up to the main system and form a huge deformation band before the dry slot arrives from NJ. Notice the back edge already slowing down a little.

Living in LB there were several storms that we stayed under 10 most notably the January 10 storm. All we have to do is go under a 3 inch an hour deform for a couple hours and we are set.

Yes, but its about to go BOOM! its gonna be close

All snow colts neck. Roads covered. I see the northern stream energy trying to catch the back edge before it blows up. Think long island gets crushed

There, There is some sort of white substance falling from the sky! Flipped over to 90/10 snow/sleet sticking to everything since there was a thick coating of sleet on the ground! 31.5/32

Hey Staten, in which part of the borough do you live? I'm in New Dorp Beach and it's been a sleetfest for a few hours (still is)

EDIT: Literally just changed over :)

I'm at the bottom of Grimes hill in the heart of sunnyside. It changed over 5 mins ago so you should be soon.

EWR 0.40"

NYC 0.57"

JFK 0.42"

LGA 0.32"

TEB 0.52"

ISP 0.62"

BDR 0.57"

The Euro showed around .5-.70 being rain or slop on some of its runs didn't it?  I think last night's run was less than that but the prior two I think were close.  Seems to be doing pretty good job right now
