According to Matt Noyes, the storm has stalled south of Nantucket. So much for it stalking E or ENE of ACK. Even more snow??

@MattNoyesNECN: 11:45PM Blizzard Analysis: Storm has stalled 143mi S of Nantucket-Max wind 55mph, max gusts 90mph, pressure 28.76 (974mb)

Excellent, let's have this thing defy the guidance and make history folks.

It does appeared the storm has stalled, or at the very least rapidly slowed it's progression...doesn't look like H5 has started closing off yet either so not occlusion going on yet which means the inflow to the storm and into the banding shouldn't be shut off any time soon.  This band will be staying strong for at least the next several hours!!!

we're lucking out.    That band is back-building seemingly right over Bow to over here.   ;)

Definitely lucking out, was hoping it would at least pass through. Not going to complain if it hangs around for a bit. House is starting to creak pretty well from the wind now after being rather docile all night.

21"+ here at midnight.  Snow board is fairly protected so I am just hoping none of that is drifting.

Son and I just did our annual run and roll around in the snow thing that we do - Been doing it for 5 years.  Strip down to boxers run around and roll in the snow for about 45 seconds.  We try and pick a good storm and do it once a year.

Cleared board for morning.  Don't think I will be up between 4-6am to clear it.

Yes, I thought is was also.  Does anyone know how long it naps off Nantucket?

Think I'm gonna call it a night soon. Doesn't seem worth staying up for here.

It's a pretty good snowstorm, epic for some in CT and NY.  CT is the place to be for these things now.

Hope you are all ok.  Snow like this can kill.  Wind gusts here 40+ and with your 2"+ph it's gotta be Wild and maybe even a little scary?

Rollo, my sister lives off 3a in manomet. Close to the water.

She's my neighbor almost.   Hopefully she's doing okay, this is the worst I've experienced here, if she's on the water side of 3a I'm betting she feels the same way.  Savage.
