OceanStWx
I think we will have some fun mark soon This is where we have the band rotating up to in the next couple of hours.
radarman
Average of 10 measurements here was 7" with the weakened but still very nice band about to arrive.
CoastalWx
That ob seems weird. I've had nothing close to those winds since the CF came south. Vis is fooked up too.
Chris L
Still snowing hard here and another strong bnd just offshore moving in. I think there is reorganization of the banding and eastern ma is going to rock seriously for many hours. I expect to have 25-30 before its over. One reason is the cf is now s of Boston and like Diane my temp dropped precipitously awhile ago. Great things ahead for many of us. Jerry, enjoy this very much. I have no doubt you will crack 30". OceanStWx
Notice the serious snowfall rates disappear at the same time CAA commences and the coastal front begins to suck back to the SE. The intense frontogenesis is weakening now, and so are the insane rates with it.

CapturedNature
a foot of snow in 2 hours lol..Never in my wildest dream I saw that once - in the early 90s. Still haven't seen anything like it but this was dam close. My 4"/hr stuff is down to 1-2"/hr. I'm about to try and go out again and verify that. Tomorrow I'll do a better job by measuring in multiple places but I'm doing the best I can now.

SR Airglow
Alternating between SN and SN+ based on the wind, goes to SN+ when it gusts. If I had to guess 1.5" since 9:30, probably around 10.5" for the storm with plenty more to go! -skisheep
