Far from peaking. Unthinkable, gross, insane, gorgeous breathtaking amounts. (depending on your perspective)  What a monster inflow. I'll say it again PERFECT PHASE. So at minimum EMASS has lowballing 10-12 more hours of atleast 1"hr, throw in 2-3" rates. I got bingo!

Have not measured ~10" hard to tell.

fairfield peeps.............how good is this?

Although I'm not in fairfield, and have been dryslotted for the last 1.5 hours(getting  back into it now, SN+ with nice wind), it's still been pretty great, got the biggest storm in 2 years, got to spend the day in a winter wonderland, and skiing is going to be great for a long time as a result of this. Plus watching it on radar and hearing the reports is pretty awsome!

Would I have liked to be under the band, yes, can I complain, absolutley not.

Sorry for my minimeltdown earlier, radar seems to be filling in nicely here, seeing some flecks of 30 dbz over stamford, so that worry seems to have passed. Measuring .2" as the hourly total was depressing for a second though, if I was to go out and measure for this hour would guess an inch plus, probably in 10"+ territory now.

Epic fail by the GFS

I can't believe just how gross it was/is, right on top of the event at that! Just wow.

This is a monster event, even up here this far inland in Ayer. We've been having wall creeking gusts and street lamps reduced to mere yellow orbs now for almost 2 hours... one more to go and even I have verified a blizzard.  It's so cold here too. 17F   We had 3" in one hour and 1.5" the next hour and though that incredible band us out toward FIT right now, it has not really let up here.   Est 1.25" hour persists with 35 to 40mph gusts, just lifting everything.  Hard to measure but 7.25" from the several I took 20 minutes ago.  No lightning here.   Vis about 1/16 of a mile, estimated -night's hard to tell.  But it goes down substantially in gusts.   We should at least verify 12" here, but probably more if a band recharges as you say.  Just ha oh man that was almost a scary gust - that was over 40!!!!!!!!!!!!!

radar is really starting to look good in merrimack county.  enhancing over us as the rocking ham band moves in from the se and the death band sits to our sw.  starting to get optimistic.

such a weenie am I

love hearing the reports to the south of here.  between diapers and snow, no sleep for scott.  jerry in hog heaven with dog.  will adding to his braincyclopedia,  ray struggling to accept that he is getting nailed, steve flirting with yellow and red echoes...I could go on but this is pure pleasure.

I think we will have some fun mark soon
