SR Airglow
looks like it's building towards you a bit-hang in there Hanging in here, looks like it's actually starting to pick up, radar looks OK as well, still think I can do 18" assuming I don't dryslot all night. This is supposed to hang around until noonish tomorrow, correct? going out to measure now, will see what it brings. -skisheep

snowman21
SPECI KBED 090214Z 01016G65KT 1/4SM R11/1800V2200FT FZFG VV002 M07/M07 A2975 RMK AO2 PK WND 03065/0214 P0001 PWINO FZRANO $ Thats gotta be an error. no way KBED gusted to that.. Many ASOS gusts to 60+ last hour though. including PVD ORH used to have the same issue. Get some wet snow to stick to the ultrasonic anemometer and there you go with erroneous wind readings. radarman
Quite disappointed. 4", MAYBE 5'" at absolute best. I would think you are about to get crushed for a while. I feel you, but give it a little bit longer. Palmer is right on the edge of that monster.

But down by Monson/Brimfield is the strongest snow band I've ever seen on radar, and it does seem to be slowly working it's way in this direction. Maybe she'll spread some of that love around. Ive been under it a little while, wait til it gets to you, its insane
Natester
I wouldn't be surprised to see a report of 40 inches of snow (let alone 50 inches of snow).
Heisy
This will go down as the greatest storm I've personally witnessed. I live in Philly was 10 years old in 1996, so hoping I can possibly beat 30" here in Marlboro...We'll see. Radar is the best I've ever seen. SlantStickers Anonymous
I just went out to try and shovel the driveway so it's not so bad tomorrow and brought the measuring tape. In shallow areas I got 10-12" and the drifts are over 2 feet deep already. Feeling good about reaching 24+ from this monster! Btw its absolutely blinding, couldn't see across the street and it was like a sandstorm on the skin. Just beautiful.
