closing in on 4 inches...seems like it should be accumulating faster..i think ratios are terrible here at the moment..so they are getting smoked in greenfield and south east and to some degree west of here..

 

if this brute cant overcome this lower valley then no storm can

 

You have some intense banding to go through.  Yeah, snow growth is not perfect but it will pile.  Dense and long lasting snow pack.

There's some dripping here in Newport!! Intensity of the snow has diminished over the last hour and temps have crept up to 34 and some of the snow is starting to fall/melt off the trees...Hopefully the heavy band over CT slides east and remains intact. Still have power..probably because snow amounts in my part of town are only around 6 whereas areas just to my north and west along the south coast of RI have several inches more and this is having a bigger impact on trees and powerlines.
