You're going to need a bigger ruler :)

We are doing decently in Dobbs Ferry, closing in on 7", but to get 18-24" amounts down here we need the radar to improve tremendously. The cold conveyor belt MUST perform to get our totals into the big leagues as many of the ECM/NAM runs showed. I still think the storm is a little east, and late, for my liking, but we'll see. The 12z ECM showed about 1.25" QPF as snow overnight here, and that would be big considering ratios should push 15:1 in the deformation axis. Someone in Westchester could make a run at 20" if that's true and the storm is just starting, but I need to see a better radar to be convinced.

Lots of blowing snow. This will be a horrible guesstimate measure.

Tell me about it.  Roof of the cars are bare as is the back deck (different situation on the side deck). At 3:30,  measured 2.5" in the middle of a multi-acre beaver pond and 2" at my stake in the midst of an open field.  Not sure how the blowing has effected those areas.

Nudity incoming that band looks better with every scan. We are about to get crushed.

Beauty--enjoy!
