Measuring.

 

the hvy band should be here in 15 minutes or so..To you in less than 30 mins. Then we rock

 

Just wondering.  Some folks do the every 6 hour bit.

 

Yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing some of that heavy stuff.  It'll be even nicer when it's snowing like that and the wind is rockin'.  I know you don't like that, but we haven't had a good white out in a while.

Good luck trying to measure down there guys. The drifting and blowing off of trees/buildings will be insane. Do your best to take an average in an open location the best you can.

 

14F with a moderate burst. Canterbury RWIS went down a bit under 1/2SM. Only 15-20mph gusts here, but it's enough to cause significant drifting at times.

What is causing an impedence of echoes north this far west?

 

Storm track?   I think that's what some of the models were picking up on.   Check out the RAP for instance

It's obviously too light but you'll see it punches the precip north in the next hour or two.  The ? for out there is what happens then?
