Unfortunately, a windy event, coupled with a lack of "official" measuring techniques, will lead to some wild variations within a few miles...not too mention there very well would be a few areas that had tight, localized sharp gradients.

Yeah...I was telling wiz last night my area, like his, blows for measuring because pretty much everywhere is sheltered by my house or trees. But at the same time, the trees act as a decent shelter to the wind as well, so we get minimal drifting away from the house. I feel pretty confident in my 27.5" measurement this time around.

Yeah, just took awhile to get ramped up here but we got destroyed overnight in S NH

I was just watching WMUR and they had the radar from overnight and it looks we had a huge band rotate back over us, must've been nuts because I went to bed at midnight with like 8'' and we've picked up 15'' more since then.

Just "read" through posts starting at 11:30 last night. Truly amazing! What a storm - hope everyone stays safe and sound.

Waiting for the Kittery, ME report(s) to see how bro-in-law and family fared. Looks like they are still getting pounded - the kids are probably outside having a blast :)
