Mr. Windcredible!
NICE....Another neighboring town that verifies our total!! Is anyone questioning it? I don't know how anyone could after watching the radar last night. This was the real deal! We had about 28" here and that was with 3 hours of sleet/graupel. It was obvious by 9-10pm last night there would be widespread 30-36' totals across the state.

I don't think they are believing our totals as they haven't posted them I'm seeing 25" for Coventry. That seems way low. I'm getting 33" on a consistent basis in more than one area. Patrick-02540
Keep in mind there is almost no gas in this region right now. You asked...maybe 10-12" here. Lots of tree damage. Are we allowed back on the roads? Just took the Jeep for a spin. In 4 wheel drive, still tough but manageable- all that slop is frozen under 9-12 inches of snow. I have my wife's hospital passes so I can be on the roads. No one else is on them though. Ripping here now. Got another inch in last hour. More to come. NB-Weather
Still snowing, my neighbor measured 40 inches a few minutes ago.. seems fishy though, probably closer to 34-36 inches (east of New Haven) In these pictures, these railings are 4 feet, they were protected pretty well from wind so there was not much drifting.. Also, the cars are gone!!

LakeEffectKing
Another pic from my Aunt just south of Hartford....she didn't "officially" measure, but says estimating (because of all the drifting) between 2.5 and 3 feet fell.
Patrick-02540
Just loving these last bands. Truly beautiful looking out this window, snow falling, enjoying a coffee, and listening to the wife argue with herself about how she forgot to buy her non-fat lactose-free milk yesterday. Doesn't get better than this.

Bryan
Holy crap, this was Sandy with snow it seems. Whatever trees that aren't bending from snow have snapped, trees and tree limbs everywhere, wind ripped the shrink wrap off the boat. Suspect something happened with the cell towers because my phone is struggling. anyone know when this ends down here?
NavarreDon
Amazing obs & pics guys! Congrats on a hall of fame type storm. LakeEffectKing
Agreed...didn't Conventry have 20" at 10pm last night? Unfortunately, a windy event, coupled with a lack of "official" measuring techniques, will lead to some wild variations within a few miles...not too mention there very well would be a few areas that had tight, localized sharp gradients. teebrdsfan
Did several different measurements, avg of just under 25" Interior Rockingham county NH. Still -SN, drifting made it tough to get accurate measure. My biggest snowstorm ever...
