The precip edge has been steadily expanding northwest, now it's all the way back into Iowa and a bit of Minnesota. This bodes well for several more hours of good snowfall. 0.33" liquid so far, roads are a slushy mess, snow accumulating on other surfaces since it started but haven't measured.

Really the EURO is only MECS.  The EURO delivers about 2.8 QPF to boston.  Verbatim thats 3 feet

The NAM is really putting itself on the line with the east coast. It has a HECS while the Ops are more MECS(and that is for SNE only)

If it fails, I am sure we will hear about "upgrades" coming.

I've noticed the models continue to slow the exit of the snow tomorrow afternoon here. It almost looks like the northern stream snow melds into the defo zone of the coast and pivots a bit. In fact 18z NAM kinda has a trowal signature. I'm wondering if a foot plus is more likely than not.

I've been thinking the same thing since I noticed it yesterday on the models. If that's legit...you're really golden.

Freezing Rain Warnings Issued for the Lake Erie Shore...Winter Storm Warning continued for Hamilton, Southern Halton, Southern Peel and issued for Northern Niagara Region and Northern Halton Region. Snowfall Warnings continued elsewhere. EC must think some decent lake enhancement will occur along the western end of Lake Ontario. 330pm EC update has 25cm for Hamilton.
