Toronto4
Same weather, different outcome based on imaginary political boundaries. If I were a kid in Toronto I'd be pissed. I agree. I think the TDSB and TCDSB will close schools early today.
stormtrackertf
What a mess. Everything caked with .10" or so of ice and 2.5" of snow. Impossible to scrape the windows on my car this morning...Heart attack style snow too. Very heavy and solid.

michsnowfreak
Side streets will be a disaster as temps drop. A thick glaze lies under 2.0" of cement snow. Snow depth 4". Trees pretty, snow resting on branches, which are crackling from the ice in the breeze. Deform about to swing through for several hours.

snowstormcanuck
2.8" of snow the last 2 hours. Not the 2-3"/hr rates the NAM was trying to spit out, but still lovely.
weathernut
Wow...this is impressive. 12cm so far in downtown Hamilton. And it's just cranking out there. Blowing sideways. IMO, the key to any of us approaching the 25-30cm mark will be the defo band later. I'm hoping that when the storms merge, our defo bands will be fueled like they were on the Boxing Day storm. Enjoy folks!
