nice little uptick in the radar echoes from about I-39 heading east/southeast into western parts of LOT. Could see a quick accumulation. I have maybe 0.2 inches here on the Aurora/Naperville line. epic FAIL.

Friend just said its like a misty mix falling. Any snow by you?

so...just measured 1.8" on 4:1 ratios.  Measurement taken in a courtyard which is normally junk but with no wind, it's probably pretty close.  Still all snow and coming down pretty good but temp hovering just above freezing...snow is compacting into one of the denser packs I can remember.

Snow depth up to 8", was 7" before the storm. At least it went up, some serious compression occurred during the freezing rain. Another hour or 2 of light snow and it'll be over, 0.47" liquid so looks like we'll end up with approximately 1/2". We fit the gauntlet of precip types into that 1/2" no doubt, but most of it has been snow. 0.39" of snow liquid equivalent thus far, so 4" looks right on the money.

Fairly sure this storm caught alot of people off guard in the area, a winter weather advisory was in effect but this ended up being comprable to a true winter storm. The roads are terrible right now.

Wow, that seems kind of high. Possible I guess. Wind is going to make measuring a b**ch. <3cm here. Are you in Vaughan or Etobicoke?

Looks like it's tapering off downtown. I'll be heading home soon where, judging from radar, it has been snowing quite heavily for awhile. Good news is that radar shows heavy returns in east Michigan about to cross Huron. Hopefully headed this way!

Southern Vaughan, 10 min drive from Steeles LOL. I measured in 5 locations. I had bare ground to begin with lol so its accurate i'm sure and its snowing moderately.

Just an extra 2.8cm Canuck lol.

Honestly, if there are going to be stupid high amounts I think you're in the best spot of all the Toronto posters.

With the wind, it's possible I'm too low. You have had better coverage of snow today while up until about 4pm it was showery here in Etobicoke and Mississauga. Well, let's hope the dry slot doesn't last too long.

LMAO, did you see the upgraded warnings from EC.

So the "WSW" has expanded into Mississauga/Brampton but Toronto is still in the "SW" -_-

Not that it makes a difference but yeah, quite conservative in a way.
