Tau tons new map give the whole CT river valley the middle finger of death.

CT shadowing IMO may be overdone..it's the mesoscale screw zones like Ryan said...and that will not be able to be nailed down.

Agreed Scooter.  Mitch's maps look fantastic for this area as well, which should help compensate.

Yep, I think you'll be ok though. JMHO. A BM track like the euro smokes you.

Yeah it's really all about mid level features and mesoscale banding. A northerly wind in the boundary layer is not a big deal for CT. Up north a NE to NW wind will cause some shadowing in the CT River Valley... but this is a classic thumper for the I-84 corridor with a benchmark track.

Everyone's phones just went off at the bar. Emergency alert. Never seen that before. This is the real deal. To keep it on topic. The models are pure porn

Yeah all our phones here in the NYC area did the same thing all at once. Never heard that before. Luckily the iPhone has an option to turn that crap off.

I don't get it, BOX posted the warning statement saying 18-24" for Cape Cod, MA, but their map shows 8-10" for me, maybe its just not my storm.  WIthout mixing we would be talking the same amounts as areas southwest of Boston, MA.

Mixing or even plain rain is still a potential issue/is going to happen for some of us in the CP down this way.  Too early to tell much.
