dendrite
C and S NH get semi suckerholed between the deformation and CCB. Glad it's the NAM 48hr+ out.

John Choquette
NAM decided it wanted to create more outrageous QPF with this run...
RI Rob
I asume the EURO is going to be a big deal tonight. I'm surprised with the torch shown on the NAM though... It doesn't verify with any other models correct?
Mr. Windcredible!
They usually need something like a gravity wave....ala Mar 2009, lol. They got smoked too in the 12/19-20/09 storm too IIRC. Hands down the best storm for me since moving to CT in '06...probably the heaviest snow I've seen over such a prolonged period...had 3"/hr rates for a solid 3-4 hours. In any case...NAM definitely looks for Euro-esque. Still not sure how much we should be trusting it after that toss-tastic 18z run.
ORH_wxman
NAM is a later phase like the Euro. Just warmer than the Euro though.
ravensrule
Ravens won the Superbowl, you're good. Really bombing at 57 hrs, with the NAM. Good point plus I can always road trip to NE.

ctsnowstorm628
Nothing else is suggestive of that, no? I'd say toss if so given it's poor performance if late. Agreed? I agree. I think the south coast is the only place where IP is a legit issue.

weatherwiz
With such a strong deformation band zone someone is bound to get screwed with subsidence...that should be a major wrench somewhere with snowfall totals.
CT Rain
NAM is a later phase like the Euro. Just warmer than the Euro though. Yeah very Euro-like. Will be interesting to see what GFS and Euro do at 00z.
