moneypitmike
I hope it's saved some for GC. At least we can hope for ratios to compensate for any qpf shortcomings. Any sense of qpf from AQW/ORE/EEN territory?

Clinch Leatherwood
is euro more BM/South of ACK stall or off NJ/S of LI stall Exactly the same more or less as all its earlier runs. At 12z Saturday it's maybe a handful of miles west of the previous stall point.

danstorm
I love it when mets show their weenies!! This reminds me of the Feb 1983 Superband, only broader and longer lasting. You rarely see CCBs like this... incredible inflow, bombing coastal... could be like a solid wall of yellow on radar... all snow.
SR Airglow
OH MY GOD it's been worth waiting 2 years for that Euro run, winter is delayed but not denied! 18"++ all the way back to NYC!!! WOW!
HIPPYVALLEY
Yeah NW tick this run After my work day so far, that's by far the best thing I've ever heard. After many years of being a winter storm weenie it seems that more often than not the epic storms always tick a little closer to the coast than modeled when it's down to go time. This may be no different.

SR Airglow
Unless there's severe coastal flooding what's the big deal? The city doesn't need to shut down for a foot of snow because most people get around by some form of mass transit. Unless the MTA is going to shut off the trains (which may occur at the peak of things tomorrow night and early Saturday on the commuter rails), tomorrow will be like any other work day. Metro North is going to be a mess tomorrow evening and saturday. Probably a sunday schedule friday night, which is hourly/1/2 hourly service express and local only instead of 10-15 minute services with local, semi express, express, and super express. Trains are packed as it is friday, 1/3rd the number of trains is going to be chaos. -skisheep
snowman21
Maps anyone? I've been secretly (and selfishly) hoping for a NW jog, let's just hope it doesn't keep on ticking west bringing with it p-type issues.
