RedSky
the model blend always seems to workout in these diverging model situations we all know the NAM is far too juiced locally it works out on my best guess with about 8-10" not the 16" the nam shows or the 5" from gfs
Kevin Reilly
8-10" is the biggest by far this year and in 2years take it and run!

I think that's based on NAM model output. Or it's the same model. I've never quite squared the WRF-NMM / NAM connection but I do believe there's a clear association. mookiemike
Which is worse? The naming of Winter Storms, preposterous and commercial, or the all disaster, all the time, 24/7 coverage we can expect from CNN tomorrow? I'm watching the pressure falls on the northern energy and pulling for it. The more polar air that gets into this system, the better Philly makes out. This is a colder solution. Models that showed a stronger northern stream showed southern zones doing better. I think the ultimate moment of phasing is an EPIC event I feel privileged to witness, sleep deprived that I am. Hope everyone is safe tomorrow/today. "This is going to be great" : "Flounder"-Animal House
Pohopoco
Can't control any deviations so just sit tight and watch...I too; like Voyager, missed my B-Day shot(5th),but ever since the 78 Storm I figured 3 day's either way and it's not a strikeout...btw,got a sugar coating from those returns that I thought were only virga...to me that's a good sign...
