Snowlover11
Yeah, im not too pumped for this storm, today's model runs have trended east and weaker, but stronger for SNE/NNE. Do we still get snow yeah but nothing major. I guess with how last winter, and so far this winter have been I should run with whatever we get, but I just cant get hyped. snywx
DT posted the Euro snowfall map on fb.. Shows the 6" line cutting NYC in half from SE to NW, BK & SI are in the 3-6" zone while N Queens & The BX are in the 6-9" zone. 9-12" zone runs from the Hudson Valley to E LI It has LI receiving 6+ throughout with more obviously as you head east.. Amped
The november storm proves that it is possible for all models to be wide left 24 hrs out. This can certainly go both ways easily.
Chaser25973
Ugh! Why do people ALWAYS give Upstate NY, which is further away from the heaviest precip MORE snow than Long Island, especially Suffolk County!? 8-12 NYC, 12-18 Eastern Nassau, Western/Central Suffolk

Why do people ALWAYS give Upstate NY, which is further away from the heaviest precip MORE snow than Long Island, especially Suffolk County!? 8-12 NYC, 12-18 Eastern Nassau, Western/Central Suffolk The same reason why areas in "Upstate NY" average more than LI.. Kaner587
18z gfs warm-up cancel. 6hr period of warmish temps maybe into upper 30's before cold front comes through. Looks like we may hold on to snowpack for a bit, assuming we get 6+
