i would have to agree with them. I'm thinking 12-18 inches here with strong winds, especially along the immediate coastline.

We've seen Monmouth County do well in these situations where a band will be slow to retreat dropping an extra 4-5 inches.  I don't know about 12-18 but it's certainly possible especially the one model that gives Belmar 2.45 inches.

Even if an inch of that precip fell as rain, we'd still see over a Foot of snow! Truly amazing storm this is shaping up for us here!

If I've learned one thing over the past few years, it's never count Monmouth county out of anything weather related. :lol:
