chubbs
09 sref. There are some misses for our area but most have snow well to the west along the northern stream trough axis. Big hit as you go NE.

NaoPos
nam says... POW!!! THE H5 differences between 0z and 12z are almost laughable. 12z digging that northern stream even more, and the southern stream PVA looks a lot stronger = quicker phase. CCB develops over eastern pa/NJ... Maps are beautiful. obviously some wasted liquid to start).
HM
If the NAM is correct, this one is going to hurt for a while in PHL-S NJ. Also, small timing issues could result in a later interaction, delaying the pivoting and screwing the southern half of the area. That SW edge will be swinging in fast so that northern s/w has to dig quickly and catch this POS. NAM steps into the euro camp and says..."what 00z run solution are you talking about"
Quakertown needs snow
i hope nam is onto something, hr39 looks great, dragging cold air further into NJ, nice precip still

JCT777
nam says... POW!!! I think most of the informed posters in this forum realized the NAM had been clueless and would eventually come around. And I believe "POW!" should be the official meteorological term for rapid low-pressure strengthening.
LMolineuxLM1
Here's the difference i was talking about: Looks like the southern s/w is stronger and more potential. 12z NAM 18z friday, 0z Nam 18z friday..

TUweathermanDD
Is there enough wiggle room for this to even get the Philly region into the action more? Yes if it shows more amped s/s and digging of n/s vort giving a better cleaner earlier phase.
NaoPos
Is there enough wiggle room for this to even get the Philly region into the action more? Not too sure. All depends on the phase. My fear is whoever is west of that CCB, gets shafted with subsidence. That CCB is going to be wicked.
