Sn0waddict
Wow! 10-20 for coastal CT...18-24 inland! With gusts as high as 60MPH? Give me 10 inches and blizzard like conditions any day over 20 and calm. I do think there is going to be a ton of panic though during early morning Friday when its raining on the coast. The CCB is really going to have to do a lot of work for us to reach those numbers.
SR Airglow
Watch just went up for my other locale for 8-14.(Lake Placid, NY)" Should get the mountain probably 100% open, they need this snow way more than any of us do... -skisheep

mahk_webstah
When will you lower amounts to 3-6 statewide? As soon as you explain how last night's storm will be bigger than this one. IN all seriousness I think you get 24+...and I might too.

powderfreak
Man I like the 18z NAM...continues a nice northern stream crush job up here. I love how we are getting another maximum of QPF way back this way.
bmj16725
That SREF plume site is an interesting tool - it really shows two clusters of solutions for this area (using OXC) in regards to total snow - a group in the 6-10" range and an group in the 20"-30" range with almost no members in between. Shows the sensitivity of the setup down this way.

Morgan Palmer
My shot from the west coast: I'm surprised the models are this much in agreement since we're not blocked and the systems will phase. Someone's going to get creamed, but think any spot forecasts are premature. I like how BOX and Mt. Holly are largely broadbrushing. Carry on, and keep calm (Tomorrow will be time to "panic and freak out!")
Chrisrotary12
http://chrishamptonweather.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/official-snow.jpeg Put in blog that my numbers might come in low.
