I think it helps me achieve things overall. It's not hard to throw the towel in when it's time though. Much of this hobby is similar to being an avid sports fan. I've seen a lot of great comebacks in my life. Some that even defied reality. I wouldn't have enjoyed them if I turned off my tv in despair too early. But there is a point in every game where you know it's over no matter what. I draw the same line watching my teams as I do with snow here. I'm crazy but not delusional.
