Bob Chill
Hopefully, no one creates a new thread for that event until we get a little closer. I swear, I think we are jinxing ourselves with these 10 day out threads! Maybe superstition and luck are where it's at, in regards to getting a good snow event here this winter. Agree 100%. Mods please. 72 hour rule. Not because of superstition either.

nw baltimore wx
This seems better. Don't know wtf they were thinking earlier today. I am wondering if this morning's map included the western narrow area of snow from this morning. Presently, looks like this thing is about to go big. I don't know how to loop snips, but this fish is getting angry.

psuhoffman
one thing i dont get is what's the need to make a blizzard into some massive disaster? most people get a lot of junk food, get wasted and have some sex. oh no! Exactly and why I feel no guilt rooting for snow. It's just people's need to be sensationalist and blow things out of proportion.
psuhoffman
I have no rooting interest but compared to our forum I am shocked by the lack of logical analysis in the NYC and new eng forums. Most of them have an obvious rooting interest and simply ride whatever model supports what they want. Bass ackwards reasoning.

Bass ackwards reasoning. snow as a whole tends to interest the unintelligent more than other weather types. go to a region where it's normal to get snow... problem. we're good at the analysis since it's harder to get a good one here.
