ravensrule
Figured I'd share this bit of info about the initialization of the GFS and NAM tonight. Further north it's being debated on whether or not it influenced the NAMs very wet and west run or the GFS's east solution and etc. Probably not major enough of a thing to influence either, but this might directly affect you DC/northern VA guys if you can sneak some decent precip in. Thank you, sounds good.

WeatherGQ
Its 39 and rain in RIC... so I would guess rain and maybe sleet Thanks!! yea, its seems like the radar is definitely picking up sleet. I think DC north will get some decent winter precip before the changeover. by decent, I mean 1-3 instead of 0-
Nor Easter
Snowing in Woodbridge might mixed with some sleet. Def more snow, initially it was all sleet. Nor

Really surprised the initialization thing wasn't mentioned in here.

Ian
of course the most noticeably shift east of the euro was around here. still gets everyone else good up north. tho brings nyc slightly closer to that ugly edge.

Ian
sadly, probably won't make a bit of difference in the end down here, but thanks again i know the snow maps get made fun of but the 12z euro had a stripe in that area toward sw dc burbs and 0z euro has a 4-8" dot almost right over roanoke. Ian
way, way drier down here this winter is just an absolute nightmare, and I didn't think last year's could continue I wouldn't be surprised if it shifts east a bit more up the coast. NYC may cash in on deform or something but I'd be a little nervous far west.
