First band of snow moved off of Lake Michigan and it is RIPPING! We already are nearing 1/2 inch and it's been snowing for about 30 or so minutes. Hopefully we can squeeze an inch off this band before the main show later.

EDIT: GRR has bumped up point forecast for Grand Rapids:

Today: High near 33. East wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of around 4 inches

Tonight: The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 26. East wind 10 to 15 mph becoming north after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of around 8 inches.

:snowing:

With 6 inches of snow already on the ground before the show began, we could approach 18 inches of depth once all is set and done assuming that forecast verifies. Haven't seen that since GHD. Hopefully, this is a good sign for you guys around YYZ
