weathergy
actually There might be a concern as far north as 59. You're bound to do better up there than me.

turtlehurricane
Precip intensifying but the cold air in the lowest levels is warming up, 31.5 F on top of the met building. Not gonna hold my breath on this one, might not see improvement until the north winds arrive, and those are still in Iowa.
wisconsinwx
All Snow here.. MKE reporting -SN as well.. You sure it's not sleet, maybe it just changed over on campus and the rain/snow line is shifting SW

turtlehurricane
Actually just started to get some sleet, like 5-10% but there's undoubtedly some pinging going on. Reflectivity up to 25-30 dBZ.
A-L-E-K
You sure it's not sleet, maybe it just changed over on campus and the rain/snow line is shifting SW definite smorgasbord of p-types out there right now. mesoanalysis still showing weak WAA ongoing over NE IL but it is pretty much done up there. A-L-E-K
Just started snowing by O'hare. nice avatar...weenie radar shows the little pocket of snow you all are report and in general jives well with the report here. You don't see many maps where Kenosha and Madison are rain and Aurora is snow.
sc2man13
Looking at the radar, there is an awesome band between Holland and South Haven moving to the northeast and moving onshore shortly. I'll be exited to see what happens when it gets here. We're at a solid 29 degrees in GR, and it is a very moist cold. It's getting to me a lot more than the artic air last week. Whatever snow we get today will turn our 6-7 inches of LES already on the ground into a veritable glacier! Edit: As an aside, the RPM has Boston down for 30 to 36 inches of snow, which will play out as 3 inches of sleet and 4 inches of concrete snow
Chicago WX
Tim's gonna win the YYZ contest. Don't buy the model hype guys. Hope I bust low. 12z NAM is bonkers for Toronto. Who knows...

It's an old grab...and either way the MKE area is clearly on the borderline right now. returns really filling in up there now...if you aren't into the steady snow in an hour or so it might be time to start worrying. A-L-E-K
lull moving through right now...radar estimates of close to .5" already near my apartment..might be a little polluted by melting but it was a wet morning.
sc2man13
The warm air has made it pretty far north...there is rain past Madison and almost all the way to the Wisconsin Dells. This may have some implications on the storm here, especially for the southern line of counties in the GRR watch area.

Nelson
All rain on my way in to MSN this morning. Solid ice on the back roads but main roads were fine. Watched my daughters school bus slide all the way down a hill so that was fun.

WestMichigan
It has started snowing in the Holland/Zeeland area of West Michigan. It is fairly fluffy snow at this point, but I know they are saying it will be a heavier wet snow later on.

wisconsinwx
Although it definitely looks like snow, some of the flakes/sleet are still pinging off the ground. I guess a sleet/snow combo. Rates are definitely not the problem atm.
harrisale
Well shoot it looks like I'll be driving up to Ottawa right before our best storm in five years. Terrible luck. Its like winning the lottery but losing the ticket in the wash. You YYZ folk will need to get some good pics and video for me. Kinda late but final call for YYZ: 12.9"
