famartin
flizzarding outside now. so much for that. At this point it seems like the highest anyone will report will be around an inch... and by "anyone" I'm including NE PA, N NJ and NYC metro. phlwx
exactly what Sheena just said..though actually showed a bit more for philly/montco than at 6pm.. also funny to note that the guy on FOX said snow to rain for Friday...sheena (and others) say rain to snow, which between the two scenarios, seems more likely at this point. CBS or FOX could surely use a guy like Glenn if he is inclined to make a move! It wouldn't surprise me if it were snow/rain/end as snow for some. "Climo" tends to side with snow to rain around here...harder to do it the other way unless the southern energy bombs out a bit southeast of us and the northern energy fizzles out. History tends to side with the slopfest more often than the system ending with a thump of snow (although it and certainly does happen, it's just not as frequent as the overhyped, underperformer). Voyager
About an eighth to a quarter inch "dusting" here with some flurries still at 4:30AM. Just enough for the salt trucks to come out I'm sure. There is so much salt on our area roads that you can't even see the yellow lines anymore. Capt. Adam
Zero here. My kids tried hard to sell me on there being a couple of flakes (2 or 3) on the back deck this morning but I couldn't verify. I think the pinning of this thread was its kiss of death.
