SR Airglow
OK, that's it, time to spend some cash for a hotel somewhere probably in NH and have a ski weekend, it's way too long since i've skied powder... -sksheep Correction, according to NYC forum even I get a nice dumping, can anyone confirm? Maybe home won't be such a bad place for this one... -skisheep
ORH_wxman
The deepening rate and the pressure gradient between that potent high to the north makes this a very legit blizzard solution on the Euro...GFS was similar.

Ginx snewx
Jerry, Your response to the Euro's latest depiction of the possible snowstorm proves that Juan Ponce de León looked in the wrong place for the Fountain of Youth. The Fountain can be found in winter's dendrites. it is true Don, having been feeling pretty old this week, the morning snow cheered me up, the morning model runs even more. Amazing quality those Dendrites.
wxeyeNH
Can anyone give us some QPF numbers for C/NNE? How far up does 1" QPF go? Does it get into the mountain ski resorts? Thanks
donsutherland1
it is true Don, having been feeling pretty old this week, the morning snow cheered me up, the morning model runs even more. Amazing quality those Dendrites. I wish all of you in New England a lot of luck with the snow. A blockbuster storm would make a fitting tribute for the 35th anniversary of the '78 blizzard, even if it occurs a few days later.

donsutherland1
Boston is forecast to receive 3.49" qpf (probably mostly snow, perhaps a period of sleet?). I don't have soundings. If it plays out according to the run, it would be an epic event.
