Typhoon Tip
Even the NOGAPs is a decent hit. I wondered, because the 18z run of the 'NAPS was also more evolved ...perhaps as a trend. Interesting. And is doing it with the N stream alone with no phasing until too late.
weathafella
i'm gonna see if the oil in my boiling pot of pasta water pot will phase if i put a couple streams in. i will space them to be an exact replica of the gfs and euro vorts spacing and stare for minutes and see if i can run my own ensemble plots. i just told the girlfriend the pasta will take an extra 20 mins this eve. awaiting GEFS. nogaps is in ...wow . kevin will be in work nude tommorrow. Typhoon Tip
Is that hp north of us delicious or what? It is ...classic really. Not very much vorticity riding underneath that is required to detonate promise - the GFS takes a bold step in the Euro direction tonight. I'd have to say as an educated guess that attention should really be raised at this point given trend. Now watch the Euro come in flat - haha. Typhoon Tip
He Debbie'd this threat to no end today Why does anyone care? Haven't you figured him out, yet. Kevin is a lot of fun. Good guy. I like him. But he does this crap on purpose. He doesn't REALLY think - at times - what he purports; he's just doing it to get a rise out of people, and also - part of him is trying to get the Mets and others to argue for an event, so that he can play the reverse psycho-babble angle. Typhoon Tip
Because this is not high school and it ends up clogging up the threads with bs, Not disputing he is a nice guy, He seems to be but is over the top at times Actually it is high school, proverbially. There is no refereeing of posts beyond banter or chastising, which is typical of the lower education domain. If it were really upward in that sense, 95% of the material would never get posted. Typhoon Tip
I see folks have dropped off for the night, but the GGEM is not just a "blow torch". It bombs the southern stream low as it's captured by the N stream down to 976mb as it's passing Cape Cod. It's a huge trend toward the Euro, but not likely right as is. eduggs
Yeah the GGEM is a relatively high QPF event from the Lakes through all of NE. That's a really significant run. The mid-levels deepen rather suddenly and shockingly. Coastal low develops a little late... clobbers downeast Maine. But the primary/northern stream system still brings moderate rain and snow to a widespread area.
