I have been keeping an eye out on the US Drought Monitor and it has made me curious to how hot the summer may get this year if drought conditions persist through spring. With neutral ENSO heading into the summer, things should still remain on the drier side IMO. What are some of your thoughts? I personally think 2013 may rival 2012. I am mighty worried about strong dust storms in the spring once severe weather season starts up. http://droughtmonitor.unl.edu/ and the drought looks to persist if not worsen over NE, especially over the next 10 days with no precipitation predicted. http://www.hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/qpf/p168i.gif What are some of the professionals outlooks for this summer?
