I was outside too. But my head was buried in my car looking for something. What a kick in the nads lol

You missed a once in a lifetime meteor. How can you live with yourself now?

The threat thread is plastered with weenies, how did this forum manage to get even more?

I ask myself this every day. It's like one of those never ending ropes coming out of a magicians pocket.

Lol. So your point is...its warm now and might snow in 2 days?

I said it's a wonderful airmass because some people in the Spring thread said this is a great airmass. A great airmass for a snowstorm is 20's and 30's, but 40's, not so great. I'm not saying it's impossible to get snow when it's in the 40's a couple days before, that's happened many times.

Guest Patrick

the older i get, the more ridiculous some of this seems....lol.

ppl just have to remember that at the end of the day, we are all just fascinated by the weather.

The "spring" thread makes me laugh.

12Z NAM is overdone - plus that cutoff gradient is overdone also............ I am still going with a coating to 3 inches throughout the immediate metro

NAM is basically coating to 3" for everyone if you look at its 2mT. Sure the precip is there, but with temps that warm, don't expect much to accumulate. I agree with your call. Coating to 3".

Amazing how central NJ has basically been the borderline for almost every event this winter. In this storms particular case, it's the borderline for heavy snow and light snow.

My guess is urban areas of Middlesex county down to Trenton do poorly in this event. They'll be on the northern edge of the heavy snow and probably won't have heavy enough rates to compensate for the above freezing temps. I could see Monmouth/Ocean counties away from the shore doing well though.
