Yup, RochesterDave was right Bust for Rochester.

My call of 8-14 for them will be spot on. Also, all accumulation forecast from the NWS will have come to fruition. Nothing bust about this storm, nearly spot on. So stop crying like a little girl who didn't get the present she wanted on Xmas morning Lakeeffectkid.

i have 12 inches of snow. don't know why this silly site keeps saying my posts are being saved instead of posted.

That little comma head/deformation zone looks really juicy.  This thing is going to go out with a bang...

I bet Buffaloweather busts too low for you....you will end up with over 15" after the LES tonight into the morning...bank it!!

Agreed, this thing was a Rochester (Lockport?) special (with regards to WNY)... Absolutely pounded snow all day.

That said, I am still struggling to actually measure any more than 7.5 inches of snow.  Strange temp profiles, crazy ratios, random flake size, and marginal temps led to a lot of compaction. And now temps have plunged down to 20, the winds are picking up and its starting to blow around.  So 15 could be a stretch.

Anyway, still coming down nicely..  really nice storm for KROC.

About 6" IMBY.  Decent event overall - always better to keep expectations in check for synoptic systems in WNY and enjoy what you get.

Anyone watching whats going on in the northeast tonight, some absolutely ridiculous snowfall rates and thunder snow. Someone is going to end up with 40 inches out of this.

Yeah, almost more impressive than anything I've ever seen in regards to snow based radar returns.

Snowfall rates will have to push 5-6 inches an hour.
