Skywalker03
Pouring snow near the shady grove metro. Might be the heaviest snow I've seen all year!
H2O
It was by the Food Lion off McLearen Gotcha. Thanks. know that spot well. Still +SN here. Winds ripping too.
vastateofmind
31 degrees, winds picking up, moderate snow right now as last band appears to be swinging through -- was only snowing lightly when I finally peeled myself out of bed at 6 a.m. Probably about .1" to .2" out there on grass only right now. eurojosh
SN and a strong wind - enough to cover the ground (just) and create a blizzard-like feeling. For about 30 seconds.
vastateofmind
Nice. I don't think I've been covered in snow like that since, well, moving to this area over 20 years ago. Perhaps I should get my arse out there during this last band. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1359719332.760063.jpg (Zywts getting coated in snow)
MN Transplant
Wind picks up markedly on the back side. There is a sweet spot around me right now where it is still snowing pretty decently and Vis is down under 1/8 mi.

BlizzardNole
Lol Neighbors. Bennington Drive. I remember the tornado well. It was during Agnes and there were several houses damaged right in that area. Ground is covered here. Wow, our house was at the corner of Kettering and Bennington Drives. Moved to northern Calvert in 1978 and all my family is still there, but having a job in DC, I relocated to Germantown to, among other things, have better winters LOL. We are done here now -- this shall be known as the Pushbroom Winter...six snows, all 1" or less. Going out now with the trust wide pushbroom to take care of the drive way. usedtobe
We're getting raked. Best looking intensity of the year. I think I have around an inch so far but I haven't been out to measure. I heard Tom Keirin (?) say it wasn't sticking on the roads, looked out and saw that it was. Temp 30.5.
mitchnick
coming down pretty darn good here but unlike most of you, I just find this a sad reminder of how bad this winter has been clinging to these forgettable events

arlwx
Down along the Potomac in SE DC, the grass and untreated parking lots are getting snowcoated, but the treated roads are still OK. Visibility about 1/4 to 1/2 mile.

NOVAForecaster
That was fun. .7" about in Oakton, the drive to school was like piloting the Millenium Falcon when you engage the hyperdrive with the white streaks of snow like stars!

Pretty ridiculous I think. Sill coming down nice here with wind whipped snow. If there were 40" on the ground, I'd swear it was February 2010!
