CAPE
Traffic cams look impressive in eastern MD and Del! I can verify that....snow has been heavy at times over here, all roads snow and slush covered.. Closing in on 3 inches in Northern Caroline county. Deck Pic
Measured .5" officially. Light snow once more, little wind. 30 degrees. At work about .5" and the same at home according to the wife. Current squall just went from -SN to +SN in an instant cool...same for me then...being 5 mi south of DCA probably helped w/ that 1st band

TUweathermanDD
cool...same for me then...being 5 mi south of DCA probably helped w/ that 1st band The rates in the last band were sick, especially with next to nothing vis when the winds ran through. As evidenced by just east, let these drop .5-1" because they have the chance to put down 2-5"

adelphi_sky
That was a nice little surprise this morning. It kept me from going to the gym at 7am, but hey, I'm not mad. Got to the 495 on-ramp at New Hampshire Ave. and the bridge had an inch of compacted snow. I got caught behind a fender bender about three cars up. The ramp is a sharp tilted curve. Anyone going at least 20mph wouldn't make it without loosing control. Give me 2 or 3 of these per month in winter and I'm fine. It's better than nothing.
