superjames1992
OMG, 0.5"+ QPF of all snow with 850s well below 0C. Yes!
beanskip
Somewhere, Dr. No is laughing his ass off. But for now, I'm going to savor an actual model run that shows actual snow. Perhaps virtual snow is the best we can hope for these days.....
superjames1992
Total QPF through hr 144. This basically shows all the QPF from the storm from TX through NC and beyond. Isn't it great how it hits us and then totally screws everyone north of VA? OUR storm! Hey, the NE has seen plenty of snow already!
NGaWxNerd
The sight I use for models is slow and only out to 51hrs. Could someone tell me if GA gets in on this run at all?
Chattownsnow
now if it can just happen further west I will be happy lol. unfortunately for us in ETN I don't think I see that happening with this one honestly.

jrips27
This is more of a humorous post, but look at that precip hole over Atlanta and points east. Less than .10" We can't even catch a break on a weenie run like this one haha.

POWERSTROKE
Until euro is on board nothing to buy in to. No hint of anything on euro. Hope it changes but until then just a good run just like all winter that never verifies
superjames1992
LOL Pack, 7-8" bulls eye over my house. Not sure if I like being bulls eyed a week out by a model run, but I'll take it. Unfortunately, it's just one model run, though it does seem to be a continuation of a trend, so there is reason for optimism.
Cold Rain
And just like that, we're having fun again. Oh, and keep that bullseye over superjames' house for another few runs, please.

I wonder if the DGEX has one of those dream runs? It's about time for it to have some fantasy snow. The models really have no hint of consistency and all options are on the table from an apps runner to suppression city. I would think that the cold may not make it down here as strong as modelled as been the case most of the winter. If this happens.....? Might be something for someone in the southeast. Until we get some kind of resolution....DIG, BABY, DIG!

RaleighWx
18z GFS really goes to town the upward motion Saturday night/SUnday morning over north-central NC. Really nice saturation/lift in the dendrite growth region. Would be a nice little event if it is true. Of course we need the euro to come on board
