Eskimo Joe
no chit? then probably be a sharp cut off? Mean snow for HBG is 4" as is the same for LNS. Millersville going 1" - 4" so that's a good call. Storm is really starting to get it's act together so we shall see what happens this evening. Eskimo Joe
**12z EURO** Snowfall / precipitation output shows over 6" of snow for Philly/Lebanon/Schurlkill counties. Philly approaches 10". EDIT: For the first time this year a winter storm has my interest.

canderson
If you look at the GOM, it's pumping moisture. That's a plus. IIRC every step the radar has outperformed the model expectancy. That said, this is the type of system that will absolutely screw someone while 20 miles east/west they get plowable snows. Especially true in those deform bands along the coast - what a challenging forecast for the mets. Don't envy them. As always, if I get 2" snow I'm fairly content. If I get 4"+ I'm extremely happy. If I get 8"+ I'm beyond thrilled.

More excited to watch the NYC-BOS corridor get destroyed, they've had a pretty crappy couple of winters, worse than here.

canderson
GFS still not on board for the historic stuff in NE nor anything much down here. It's been behind the eight-ball the whole system, it seems, trying to play catch up each run. It's more like the Euro than the 12z run for sure. Odd.
