buckeyefan1
Had two periods of light showers with the partly cloudy yesterday afternoon. Just a curiosity, but welcome rain, as always. T Perfect sleeping weather 0.95" overnight. even heard some sleep pinging around sometime last night CAE picked up 1.56 Did quite well yesterday with rain...picked up just a tad over an inch, thanks to some pretty heavy rain for a few hours toward the end of the rain shield. If only it was an inch liquid of snow What is this snow word

Lookout
1.25 since dusk. Really great rains this week.. and more on the way. Great winter for rain down here in droughtland. T Yep, only positive thing about this winter. The lakes have come way up. Ground is saturated, it's wonderful. Anyway, picked up around 1.25 here also and morning radar shows a lot more on the way, as you said last night. In fact it looks fantastic with training moderate rain from Al to Tx that appears to be heading right this way. So after a brief break, looks like we are looking forward to good rains all day. dsaur
Chris, I ended up with 2.2 as of noon. Wow! Add that to the .95 from the other day, and I'm smoking from the rain train The latest Meteostar gives me another near 3 inches this week, before the .6 in snow for the weekend, lol. Make it so!!! metalicwx366
Very warm at 72 currently with wind. No rain even though we have an 80% chance.
Isopycnic
I thought I heard thunder around 5am. Might have been a jet reverse thrusting while going into RDU and the sound getting refracted off the thermal layer. 0.32" so far overnight
Sunny and Warm
Had 4.9" over the last three days, with almost 3" last evening/night. Had one of those nights where a t-storm would roll by every hour or so it seemed. I guess this will end my concern for now as to water table, which was dangerously low in these parts heading into spring.
