Same here, I almost posted the image of George, but felt I've probably spammed my quota of images for the day. Hilarious episode.

How did the pepper treats for PeckerWoods work out? Tony Ha! Well, I patched up the hole from the inside with sheet metal. The peckerhead came back and terrorized the side of the house for a day or two but then split. No sign of him in the better part of a month. After consuting with you, I actually talked to a few other people that spoke of an actual hot pepper product that is made for spraying a house to keep away woodpeckers. I don't know if you were kidding at the time or not, but that was a great suggestion. All is good for now!
Cold Rain
I have a possum that comes into my garage that eats my cats' food and stinks up the joint. The garage door is lowered every night, but the back door into the garage has a cat door so they can go in and out, of course. The possum comes in through the cat door and eats the cat food overnight. I wish I could make it go away, but I have no idea how, other than to capture it and haul it away. But others will come. They hiss and make funny sounds.

That thing startled the crap out of me I had just put Jacob in the highchair and was making his cereal when I heard this scratching sound. I opened the door and it hissed at me.I screamed. Loud. I slammed the door and called a friend who removed it to a field far, far away. Poor Jacob didn't know what to think as I was feeding him breakfast with one hand and holding a broom against the door with the other, and not very nice words coming out of my mouth. That was the one and only creature that has ever found its way inside my home...thank gawd.

He had a hole in the siding in his garage or patio or something, and it got in there and tore up some of the insulation and it cost him quite a bit of money to fix it. At least I don't have a hole in my wall....I don't think.
WilkesboroDude
I always throw food to my cat at night when I hear him on the back door. Several nights later I just so happened to turn the light on this time when I was going to feed him but turned out I was feeding/talking to a possum the entire time. He just looked at me and smiled....stayed near my porch for weeks.

I had no idea that possum problems were so prevalent, but we have Cold Rain, Buckeye, and now WilkesboroDude all plagued with these creatures. Anyone else? WilkesboroDude
I also have a snake problem in late Summer before Fall hits. There is usually just 1 that makes it inside. This one made it in my room and was watching me. It was a black snake I believe so didn't kill it. Long but not very fat at all.

Sorry to all the animal lovers out there, but I'd shoot first (no, not literally) and do my scientific examination later if it was in my house. But, you've got a real Wild Kingdom going on up there a few counties from me!

NGaWxNerd
My behind develops goose bumps at exactly 38.34 degrees F. True story, there's an overworded, sub-terranium paper on just this subject. So current OBS show it's goose bumps and intermitten rain here at the lake.
