dsaur
I'm in the 3-6 inch range. Haha. Excited for my rain. Well, I hope that comes to pass. I've had lightening a good while and the thunder has started in the last 5 minutes...but where's the rain? I hope it isn't one of those phantom summer time lightening shows from way off down near Waycross...or swamp gas. Dang, I bet it's swamp gas... WilkesboroDude
I feel on top of the world with this 1 inch of snow. Winter seasons are finally trending better. Ready for spring now though, albeit looks like below normal temps.

Tacoma
I don't think they are now. go figure, man what a winter or the lack of. when a storm shows up for the plains it seems they always get they're storm but when one shows up for us it never hardly comes to be. Same here. It's been very wet here this winter, but little snow that is gone within 12 hours of falling. We've had a lot of days in the 40s with rain. I guess it's better than last winter, but that's only because I didn't have any snow or ice at all then. I want to see a big storm, at least 6 inches of snow, that actually stays around for more than a day.
Brick Tamland
Meanwhile, folks are working on the alarm to the emergency exit near me and they keep setting off the dang alarm! rduwx
Well, I'm in danger of taking over the #negativenancy title because I don't see anything in the LR that gets me excited. I know a lot of people like the extreme colds but I'm just not one of those people. As a matter of fact I hate cold and dry patterns as much as I do 33 and rain. Unfortunately all I see is a cold and dry type pattern showing up. I know, I'm such a #negativenancy or I could be #debbiedowner.

I knew that as soon as hashtags invaded facebook, it was only a matter of time before they spread to every other social outlet on the web. I'm just messing with you rdu - and I'm slowly coming around to that preferrence as well. I don't know if it's age, or not having a heater that works in my car, or not having insulation under my hardwood floors, or enough tons of HVAC to even push heat through my home, or kids who stay inside when it's cold...I just can't put my finger on it

Because of the PAC, we couldn't keep a ridge anchored on the west coast to save our lives. A great block forming and a ridge too far east makes for a great fish storm, but not for anyone on our board. I am sensing cold and dry incoming. Good news is, I am wrong a LOT (or so my wife tells me), so this alone should give everyone a little bit of optimism.

Stovepipe
If Larry pulls this off, he will be elevated to Don Sutherland status. Even if he doesn't, he's done a helluva job this winter. I'm now a believer in The Larry.
