Not a met, but a weather seer, i.e.... the Moles told me.  Big gom low 1st week of March.  Big, big hit for Tonyland.  Cold coming.  Be there or be square, lol.  T

I certainly hope so.  I'm pretty bummed about everyone else in the south but a few of us seeing snow this year.  I'm used to NC getting theirs but it's to see AL and MS get some this year and all I've seen is some sloppy flakes.  I can count the number of total skunk winters on one hand and still have a couple of fingers let over but this year will probably add one more.  I read Lookout's post earlier and I feel about the same way.  Gardening season can't get here fast enough.

I'm not sure how much snow you have had, but if you have had zero, I'm only .7 above you. So, I'm darn close to feeling your pain completely.

I married a yankee, Dayton Ohio boy, and he soooo does not understand my obsession with snow. I'm still holding out faint hope to see a flurry as these convective snow bands travel through (probably just north of me). He thinks I am a nut and with gas at 3.60 and my hog truck that sucks fuel at a rapid rate I am bannned from chasing flakes. Congrats to those that have had such a beautiful sight as snow to see today.

Tony, I hope your fantasy storm comes to fruition, models now show me in the screw zone for that one too I think, so expect me on your doorstep. You are in the Non-Banned-Flake-Chasing-Zone.

PS. I like my Bloody Mary's Spicy.

I would say Georgia probably has the most boring weather in the southeast, possibly in the entire east. Storms often skip over us and then regenerate in the Carolina's. Although northwest Georgia does get a good bit of severe weather. A hurricane hasn't hit the Georgia coast in forever. Snow hits a brick wall at the GA border and just fizzles out. You get the picture. I wish I could say I was exaggerating but I think what I said is pretty accurate.

I've had me a vision!!

Dang, in the beginning of the season I thought Cam was head and shoulders better than anyone one else on the floor, but Hunt is really learning the inside from Holsey.  And the big guy can shoot the free shots.  And I'm so glad they didn't give it to the point guard to take the last shot, lol.  He is terrible with the ball on the last shot :)  Whaa Hooo...I think who ever gets them in the tourney will have their hands full!  T

Dang, and I'm just about 10 years past being able to outrun irate husbands, lol..... so you are both welcome, lol.   I expect ya'll don't want to know how I had this vision, so if it gets within a week or less and my storm is showing, I'll fess up :) T

Our problem is we don't agitate for a big one.  Just take little namby pamby flurry spits and get all frenetic.  We need to be mass creating a gulf monster triple phaser that lays down a foot or more  from Texas to Va, with greater amounts around Spalding county, and other places to be named later, lol.  T

I'm so glad this is a board based on science and not prone to the hyperbole of all those other so called weather boards.  Here we stick to precise standardized measurements especially when it comes to our real passion - snow.  Here are a few examples from just the past few hours.  Names and location have been redacted to protect the.........innocent.

Still snowing like gangbusters in XXX.

Snowing good in XXXXXXX.

 hugh flakes

snow falling pretty hard now

 unreal rates.

Crazy heavy snow right now!

chicken feather snow flakes.

 Still hammering.

These are insane rates.

Wow crazy blowing snow here with big flakes.

Really coming down here

Unbelievable rates here

Oh boy,it's ripping now with big flakes.

can't wait until it arrives...rates should be insane.

Accumulation accelerating

If we get bigger flakes with the rates I have right now I am gonna die.

Science is a wonderful thing.

Someone always says this is the heaviest snow I have ever seen with every storm that produces snow.
