I'll put my snarkiness here rather than discussion, but why the heck is it every time someone has to say...... "thundersnow". Really? for this event, give me a break.

Rant Over

Well first off.. the GFS showed a possibility of it for a change in SC that MANY OF US HERE have NEVER seen so yes, we get excited about it.  I think even RAH's WFO mentioned something to that extent up there.

is there a met out there or someone with the knowledge that can tell me how do we get a GOM low to form .  seems like everytime we get moisture its mostly a frontal passage.  years ago it seems we always had GOM lows forming and moving moisture to the northeast that would give us the heavy snow on the northwest side of the storm.  what has happened to that setup and why can we not get that setup?  use to be a low would form in the plains and would drop down to the gulf and we would get the low that way, what has happened to that setup too.

Not a met, but a weather seer, i.e.... the Moles told me.  Big gom low 1st week of March.  Big, big hit for Tonyland.  Cold coming.  Be there or be square, lol.  T
