Kind of like the dog that wags its tail while mauling a limb

I've walked through the Everglades before and you literally can walk a foot or two away from them without fear of being attacked. They are surprisingly docile. Granted the ones I was near were smaller. Don't think I'd try it with the biggins.

Try 2010!

I forget that they've really been down lately.  So, this could be 2 out 4 seasons that they go to the NIT?!

Should we look at NCSU versus Duke as the new intra-state rivalry?  :devilsmiley:

Duke really could use Ryan Kelly back, though.  Miami (still undefeated in ACC play after tonight's win over FSU) looks tough to beat in the ACC even with Kelly.  Without him, I'm not sure they'll get it done, even in Cameron.

GTech had Duke until late in the second half.  The freshmen are awake now...starting to score.  Better watch out come tourney time, lol.  T

You guys are hilarious. Unc has won 5 of 8 in cameron indoor, made it to the elite 8 two seasons in a row and duke has.... lost to lehigh...

Maybe you guys can get over the hump and win that NIT championship that alluded you in 2010 as you finished runner-up. I forgot who won the big dance that year? History has a way of repeating itself. Anyway..

I was fishing a pond in Titusville, FL one time and in my eagerness to catch a large bass I went bumbling around a large Oleander bush which happened to be the abode of a 5 foot gator.  I managed to keep my bodily functions in check luckily and luckily the gator was just as scared as I was.  We ran opposite directions as fast as we could.  That's my only close encounter other than an incident on a golf course in Jekyll Island involving a fully extended ball retriever and a 10 foot plus gator.  He kept the ball.

Yeah, you're supposed to post weather banter in here, but then it gets lost because it's littered with every other off topic posts.

Says the UNC fan who can't take a little good-natured ribbing.  :P

OK, how about this to make this post weather-related?

Duke came out slow last night in the first half, as if they were playing in mud caused by a heavy rainstorm.  They couldn't even hold onto the ball and turnovers were quite common due to the slippery conditions.  But, Coach K lit a fire under them at halftime, and they responded by raining several crucial treys in the final 10 minutes of the game.  The lightning fast speed of Quinn Cook, as he led the comeback, was too much for freshman Marcus Paige to handle.  The Cameron Crazies finally erupted in thunderous applause to celebrate another Duke victory over UNC, this time on Coach K's birthday.
